Leicester City hosted Newcastle but suffered an unexpected defeat, by a score of 2-4, in the 35th week of the English Premier League.

Leicester City (35 games) are third, with 63 points, and are 4 points behind second-place Manchester United (33 games) in the current Premier League standings. Fourth place Chelsea (34 games) have 61 points, Newcastle (35 games) are thirteenth, with 39 points, and current leaders Manchester City (34 games) have 80 points.
