Italy national football team members receive COVID-19 vaccine

The members and coaches of the Italy national football team have received the coronavirus vaccine ahead of the European championship, La Stampa reports.

As reported earlier, the Italian government has permitted the entry of fans into Olimpico Stadium where four matches of Euro-2020 will be held, including the Italy-Turkey opening game. Sport events are still held in empty stadiums in Italy due to the coronavirus restrictions. Starting from June 1, fans will gradually return to the stadiums.

Earlier, it was reported that the athletes who will be representing Italy at Tokyo 2020 will be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
