Serie A: Roma, with Mkhitaryan, lose chance to finish season in top 4

Roma lost 0-2 to Sampdoria in their away match in the 34th week of the Italian Serie A and lost the opportunity to finish the season in the top four.

Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was among Roma's starters, and he played the full match.

Roma are seventh, with 55 points, and Sampdoria are ninth, with 45 points, in the current Serie A standings.
