Armenia national squad to return home with silver medal from European Grappling Championship

The Armenian national team participated for the first time in the United World Wrestling European Grappling Championship, which was held on Monday and Tuesday in the Polish capital Warsaw.

The Armenian squad, which went with nine athletes to the competition, finished with one silver medal, although they were close to winning bronze medals, too.

Mayis Nersisyan (62 kg) became a European silver medalist in the No Gi competition.
