Armenian female footballer scores goal for Blackburn in second game in a row

London Bees were defeated 2-3 after the match against Blackburn in the 19th leg of the FA Women’s Championship.

In the 15th minute, Armenian footballer Maria Edwards, 17, scored the first goal for Blackburn and played during the whole match.

Edwards has already scored a goal for Blackburn in the second game in a row (she also stood out during the match against Wolverhampton in the 1/16 final of the play-offs for the Women’s Cup and was declared the best player of the match)

Maria Edwards is leased by Blackburn. Her transfer right belongs to Manchester United. Maria has also played for the English U-18 team.
