European Wrestling Championships: Arman Andreasyan to compete for bronze medal

Armenia’s representative Arman Andreasyan (70 kg) failed to score a pass to the final of the 2021 European Wrestling Championships that kicked off today in Warsaw, Poland.

After scoring two victories, the Armenian wrestler competed with Russian Israil Kasumov during the semi-final and was defeated 3-5.

Arman Andreasyan (70 kg) started fighting from the 1/8 final during which he scored a confident victory over Lithuanian Artem Auga 10-0. In the quarter-final, he competed with Polish wrestler Krzysztof Olenczyn 10-5.

On the first day of competitions of the European championship, Armenia had two other representatives, including Gevorg Tadevosyan (65 kg) and Arman Avagyan (79 kg).
