Raphael Varane close to moving to Man United

Center-back for Spain’s champion Real Madrid and world’s champion French national team Raphael Varane is close to moving to Manchester United, El Chiringuito reports.

The 27-year-old footballer’s talks with Man United proceeding successfully.

Real Madrid believe it will be possible to renew their contract with Varane, who moved from Lans to Real Madrid for EUR 10,000,000 in 2011. His contract with Real Madrid ends on June 30, 2022. Transfermarkt rates his transfer price at EUR 70,000,000.
