La Liga: Real beat Barca

Real Madrid hosted Barcelona in the main game of the 30th week in the Spanish La Liga and won 2-1.

Barca star forward Lionel Messi failed to score a goal in the seventh El Clasico in a row.

After this victory, Real have 66 points and equaled the current La Liga leaders, Atletico Madrid, which however, have played one less match. Barca have dropped to third place, with 65 points.
