Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says his side ‘didn’t deserve to win’ their Champions League quarter-final first-leg defeat away to Real Madrid.

Klopp told BBC that he doesn’t think the team deserved to win since it didn’t play good enough for that. He added that there were surprises and the team missed goals. Klopp also thanked the fans for Liverpool’s comeback after being defeated by FC Barcelona two years ago and promised that the team will do everything it can to make the return match intriguing.

The Liverpool-Real Madrid return match will take place on April 14 in England.
