Armenia manager to his footballers: You gave everything for your teammates, for your country
09:14 1 April, 2021The Spanish manager of the Armenian national football team, Joaquin Caparros, has reacted to Armenia's 3-2 victory over Romania in the third round of the group stage in the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
"You have fought and fought from minute 1 to the end. You have given everything for your teammates and for your country. You deserve the victory more than anyone We are very happy to be able to bring another victory to our fans," Caparros wrote on Instagram.
For the first time their history, Armenia have started their World Cup qualifiers with three consecutive wins and are the current leaders of Group J. In the next two places are North Macedonia and Germany, which have 6 points each. The next three matches of this qualifying round will take place in September.
