Armenian alpine skier wins 2nd place in Iran

Ashot Karapetyan (Tsaghkadzor), Armenia’s representative at the alpine skiing championship in Iran, won second place in the slalom sport after falling behind an Iranian alpine skier by 2.07 seconds.

On March 9, Karapetyan won third place in the big slalom.

Karapetyan participated in the 23^rd Winter Olympics held in Pyongyang, North Korea.
