Karen Khachanov defeated by world's 287th racket

Russian-Armenian tennis player Karen Khachanov was defeated during the quarter final of the ATP tournament in Marseilles.

The 24-year-old athlete’s opponent was 33-year-old Australian Matthew Ebden, who is the world’s 287th racket and won 4-6, 6-4 and 6-2. Khachanov is the world’s 21st racket.

Matthew Ebden’s next opponent will be the winner of the match between Russian Daniil Medvedev and Italian Jannik Sinner.
