Stepanenko: If I am professional then Mkhitaryan is super-professional
14:12 10 March, 2021Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) midfielder Taras Stepanenko spoke about Armenian national football squad captain and Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan ahead of the first leg of their Europa League Round of 16 match against the Italian club.
"If I am a professional, then Mkhitaryan is a super-professional. That is why he has achieved impressive success in Germany and England. We know each other well because we are the same age. It can be said that we grew up together. We talked after the draw, I asked for his shirt for my personal museum," the Ukrainian footballer said, Corriere dello Sport reported.
The Roma vs. Shakhtar first leg is slated for March 11 in Rome.
Mkhitaryan had played for Shakhtar from 2010 to 2013.
