Zinedine Zidane tests positive for COVID-19

Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane has contracted the coronavirus, the football club’s press service reported.

The football club didn’t provide other details. In early January, the French coach was under quarantine after having had contact with a person infected with COVID-19. Later, he got tested, and the result was negative.

In the 1/16 final of the play-offs for the Spanish football club, Real Madrid suffered a sensational defeat (1-2) after losing to representative of Division 3 Alcoyano on January 21.
