Roma congratulate Henrikh Mkhitaryan
15:31 21 January, 2021Roma have congratulated senior player of the Armenia national football team Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who is celebrating his 32nd birthday on January 21.
“Buon compleanno,” the football club wrote on its Twitter page and posted a video featuring the Armenian midfielder.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined the Armenia national football team during the friendly match with Panama (1-1) on January 14, 2007. He has played 88 matches with the Armenia national football team and is the top bomber in the history of the team with 30 goal.
In September 2020, Mkhitaryan moved from Arsenal to Roma, with which he has played 18 matches, scored 8 goals and made 8 passes for goals during the current Italian football championship.
The senior player of the Armenia national football team has also played for FC Pyunik (2006-09), FC Metalurh Donetsk (2009-10), FC Shakhtar Donetsk (2010-13), Borussia Dortmund (2013-16) and Manchester United (2016-18).
Recently Mkhitaryan set a record after he was named Armenia’s top footballer for the tenth time.
