Tigres UNAL coach handed one-match ban for smoking during game

Manager of Mexico’s Tigres UANL Ricardo Ferretti has been handed a one-match ban for smoking during a match, Goal.com reported.

The Brazilian coach smoked during the league game against Santos Laguna (0-2). Besides the one-match ban, the 66-year-old coach was fined 8,000 pesos.

Smoking during a Mexican league game is prohibited on the field and in the technical zone, the tunnel leading to the dressing room and in corridors.

Starting from January 29, Tigres UNAL will be participating in the FIFA Club World Cup.
