The Knicks are valued at $5.42 billion. Also in the top five most expensive teams in the NBA are the Golden State Warriors ($5.21 billion), reigning champions Los Angeles Lakers ($5.14 billion), the Brooklyn Nets ($3.40 billion), and the Boston Celtics. ($3.18 billion).
The least expensive NBA teams are the Orlando Magic ($1.53 billion), the Charlotte Hornets ($1.51 billion), the Minnesota Timberwolves ($1.43 billion), the Memphis Grizzlies ($1.36 billion), and the New Orleans Pelicans ($1.35 billion).
There are 30 teams in the NBA.
