Henrikh Mkhitaryan: You can see I'm happy in Roma if you look at how I play

Midfielder for the Armenia national football team Henrikh Mkhitaryan says he will start talks with Roma to extend his contract soon. The 31-year-old footballer’s contract ends after this season and, according to Italian presses, the parties will extend the contract for a year.

“Roma believed in me. If you see how I play, you will notice that I am happy to be here. I don’t have time to talk about the contract now. A few days ago, we played with Internazionale, and our match with Lazio is coming up. We’ll talk soon,” Mkhitaryan said, Football Italia reported.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan moved from Arsenal to Roma in September 2020. During this championship, he has participated in 17 matches, scored 8 goals and made 8 passes for goals.

The senior member of the Armenia national football team has also played for Yerevan’s FC Pyunik (2006-09), FC Metalurh Donetsk (2009-10), FC Shakhtar Donetsk (2010-13), Borussia Dortmund (2013-16) and Manchester United (2016-18).
