Two-time Olympic champion among participants of riot at Capitol Hill
22:43 12 January, 2021Two-time Olympic champion, American swimmer Klete Keller was among the participants of the January 6 riot at Capitol Hill, Swimming World reported. Keller, 38, was spotted in one of the videos posted on Twitter and stood out with his aggressive behavior.
The supporters of Donald Trump, who lost to Democrat Joe Biden during the US presidential elections, barged into Congress and stopped the Senate’s session during which the Senate was going to confirm the results of the presidential elections. Later, the Congress confirmed Biden’s victory. The Inauguration will take place on January 20th.
Keller is a two-time Olympic champion (2004, 2008), an Olympic silver medalist (2000) and Olympic bronze medalist (2000, 2004) and four-time world champion (2002, 2005, 2007).
