The score was opened in the 27th minute by the home team's midfielder and Armenian national football squad captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who played the entire match.

Roma have equaled, with 24 points, the third-place reigning champions Juventus in the current Serie A standings and are the fourth, whereas Torino are the penultimate, with 6 points.
