Lakers team leader LeBron James was voted Sportsperson of the Year, Sports Illustrated reports. The 35-year-old American has been awarded for the third time.
He was previously named Sportsperson of the Year in 2012 and 2016. LeBron James helped Lakers to become the NBA champion this year. He was also voted the Most Valuable Player in the final game against Miami.
