Roma play goalless draw, Mkhitaryan goal not given

Roma hosted Sassuolo in their Italian Serie A clash Sunday, and they played a goalless draw. In the 45th minute, Armenian national football team midfielder and captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored a goal for Roma, but the VAR recorded a foul and the goal was not given.

Mkhitaryan was among the Roma starters, and he played the whole match.

Sassuolo are fourth with 19 points, and Rome are in the fifth place, with 18 points, in the current Serie A standings.
