Mkhitaryan: Can’t be more proud of my National Team
00:48 19 November, 2020Henrikh Mkhitaryan, captain of the Armenian national football team and Roma midfielder, made a post on social media commenting on Armenia's victory over North Macedonia in the last round of the Nations League group stage.
"Cant be more proud of my National Team. Big congrats Guys for the Promotion to League B!!" Mkhitaryan wrote, posting a respective video released by the Football Federation of Armenia after the match.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan could not join the Armenian national team for this match due to the coronavirus outbreak at Roma.
Armenia beat North Macedonia 1-0 and placed first, with 11 points, in the second group of Division C. This win over North Macedonia gave Armenia an opportunity to advance to Division B in the next round of the Nations League, where their opponents will be much stronger.
