Ex-player of Armenia football club dies in fierce battles

Liparit Dashtoyan, a former player of Alashkert-2 football club of Armenia, was killed in the ongoing fierce battles on the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)-Azerbaijani border, the Alashkert FC press service reports.

“Sad news from the frontline. Former Alashkert-2 footballer Liparit Dashtoyan has courageously joined the ranks of the Heroes who gave their lives to the Homeland. Rest in peace, dear Mighty Soldier,” reads, in particular, the respective statement the Alashkert FC has issued.
