French league footballer transferred to hospital

French Ligue 1 football league club AS Nancy’s 19-year-old player Massadio Haïdara lost consciousness after a collision with Marseille attacker Jordan Ayew.   

The incident occurred during the new season’s fifth-round match, which Marseille won by a score of 1-0.

Haïdara was immediately taken to hospital, where he will undergo medical examinations, France Football reports.

To note, Massadio Haïdara has played in Nancy’s all new season games and already provided one assist.
