Karen Khachanov begins Hamburg European Open with victory

Russian-Armenian tennis player Karen Khachanov started the Hamburg European Open’s ATP500 series with a victory after outscoring German tennis player Jan-Lennard Struff in the first round. The 2-hour and 37-minute competition ended with a score of 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 7-5.

In the second round, Karen Khachanov’s opponent will be the winner of the match between Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic and French tennis player Adrian Manarino.

The prize fund for Hamburg European Open’s ATP500 series is EUR 1,200,000.
