Bale opts for Tottenham (CARTOON)

The most recent work by renowned sports cartoonist Omar Momani is dedicated to the transfer of Real Madrid's Welsh midfielder Gareth Bale to Tottenham Hotspur.

Bale has joined the London club on a one-year loan, and the Spurs have paid €14.2 million to Real for this deal.

Manchester United were also interested in the transfer of the 31-year-old footballer.

Bale had transferred to Real from Tottenham in 2013 for 101 million euros.

His current contract with Real Madrid is expected to run until June 2022.
