Tottenham are favorites in fight for Bale

Tottenham Hotspur have passed Manchester United in the battle for Real Madrid's Welsh midfielder Gareth Bale, ESPN reported.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is in talks himself with Bale, 31, and he has asked the Spurs’ management sign a deal with him at all costs.

Real, on the other hand, are ready to part ways with Bale only if they receive an offer of 18mn euros in exchange for his transfer right.

Gareth Bale’s current contract with Real Madrid is expected to run until June 2022.
