Serena Williams sustains injury

Tennis star Serena Williams has sustained an injury in the US Open tennis semifinal match against Belarus' Victoria Azarenka.

Williams, 38, suffered a left ankle injury.

Victoria Azarenka defeated Williams 1-6, 6-3, 6-3, and reached the final of the tournament, where she will compete with Naomi Osaka of Japan on September 13.
