US Open: Serena Williams makes it to semi-final of Big Helmet for 39th time

Serena Williams made it to the semi-final of the US Open.

During the quarter final of the US Open in New York, Serena Williams outscored Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova (4-6, 6-3, 6-2) in 2 hours and 14 minutes and will play in the semi-final of the Big Helmet tournaments for the 39^th time.

Serena Williams, 38, will compete with the winner of the match between Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka and Belgian tennis player Elise Mertens to score a pass to the final.
