Spain clubs to make 5 substitutions in one match

In the upcoming new season, the teams of the first and second divisions of Spain will be able to make five substitutions in one match.

The management of the Royal Spanish Football Federation on Tuesday officially allowed the clubs to make five substitutions.

The teams were also allowed to include 23 players in their roster instead of the previous 18.

After the coronavirus-induced break, the Spanish teams were allowed to make five substitutions in one match so that they could play three matches in one week.
