Lewis Hamilton sets Formula 1 record

Mercedes’ British driver Lewis Hamilton took the first place in the qualification round of the Italian Grand Prix, also setting a historical record in Formula 1.

Hamilton broke the record for the fastest ever lap in F1—an average speed of 264.362 km/h!

It was his 94th career pole, claiming the Pirelli Pole Position Award as a result.
