8 footballers, 3 coaches of Ararat Yerevan test positive for COVID-19

YEREVAN. – The players and staff of FC Ararat Yerevan were tested for the coronavirus before the starting round of the Armenian Premier League, and as a result, three coaches and eight players of the team were diagnosed with COVID-19.

"Two of the football players infected with the coronavirus are part of Ararat, whereas the six—part of Ararat 2.

"As a result, the Ararat 2 vs. Alashkert 2 match scheduled for August 15 has been postponed," the club said, in particular, in a statement.
