Yerevan Ararat ex-footballer dies aged 34

Levon Ghasaboghlyan has passed away at the age of 34, the press service of Yerevan's FC Ararat reported.

"Levon Ghasaboghlyan played for Ararat in 2006, and after retiring from football, he started coaching in Kazakhstan. Levon Ghasaboghlyan is the son of former Ararat football player Samvel Ghasaboghlyan," the club said, in particular, in a statement.

The Kazakh press writes that Levon Ghasaboghlyan had recovered after being infected with COVID-19.

He had died of a heart attack.
