European football cup matches to start with minute of silence

The matches of the European Champions League and Europa League football will start with our minute of silence in memory of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic, the UEFA press service reports.

The European cup tournaments, which were suspended in March due to this pandemic, will resume this week.

The football players participating in these matches will wear jerseys with the inscription "Thank you" in the language chosen by the respective team, thus these clubs will thank the people fighting against the coronavirus.
