Messi scores 700th goal of his professional career

Barcelona's Argentine striker Lionel Messi has netted the 700th goal of his professional career, after converting a penalty spot during Barca’s Spanish LaLiga clash against Atletico Madrid.

Messi has so far scored 630 goals in 724 appearances for Barcelona and netted 70 goals in 138 appearances for Argentina.

Messi, 33, has scored 22 goals and provided 17 assists in 28 appearances so far for Barca in the current season of LaLiga.
