Barcelona intend to start talks with Messi next week

Barcelona intend to start talks with Lionel Messi next week, Marca reported.

President Josep Bartomeu and General Director Oscar Grau will reportedly hold talks with Messi's father Jorge Messi.

Messi wants to keep the right to terminate the deal unilaterally after each season.

The 32-year-old football player's current contract is scheduled to expire in 2021.
