Chris Smalling to stay with Roma

English center-back Chris Smalling, 30, is determined to continue his career with Roma, reports Corriere dello Sport. Smalling has told Roma that he’s ready to play another season with Paulo Fonseca’s team.

Roma are holding talks with Manchester United to extend Smalling’s contract for a year and for EUR 3,000,000. This season, Smalling participated in 28 matches with Roma, scoring 2 goals and making 1 pass for a goal.
