EOC President Janez Kocijancic dies aged 79

The President of the European Olympic Committees, Janez Kocijancic, died aged 79 on June 1 after a long illness, the organization’s press service reported.

Kocijancic headed the organization since 2017.

He led the Olympic Committee of Slovenia from 1991 to 2014.
