Premier League reports new coronavirus cases
12:20 24 May, 2020Another two of the members of Premier League teams have contracted the coronavirus. The third stage of testing of footballers, coaches and employees of the football clubs is over, and there have been 996 tests.
The names of the infected aren’t stated, but it is known that they represent different teams, reports Sky Sports. The infected players will be isolated, but the teams will continue to train.
Six people had tested positive for COVID-19 during the first stage of testing.
England hopes to resume the season in June or July.
