The NBA will face serious financial problems if the season suspended amid the COVID-19 pandemic does not resume, NBC Sports reported.

Thus, NBA would lose $900 million in TV revenue if the playoffs are canceled.

The regular season of the National Basketball Association was suspended on March 11, after Utah basketball players have tested positive for COVID-19.

The NBA is currently discussing the option of continuing the championship in one city without spectators.
