Merited Coach of Armenia Samvel Baghdasaryan dies
23:36 7 May, 2020Boxing master of the former USSR, Merited Coach of the Republic of Armenia Samvel Baghdasaryan has died at the age of 65, reports the press service of the Boxing Federation of Armenia.
Throughout his long career, Samvel Baghdasaryan has coached world and European winners and was the first boxer of Gyumri who won a prize at a championship of the USSR.
Samvel Baghdasaryan is the father of second coach of the Armenian youth boxing team Garik Baghdasaryan. The Boxing Federation of Armenia expresses condolences to Baghdasaryan’s family and relatives.
