Roma to try to have Mkhitaryan play for them on loan for another year

Roma hope to extend the loan contract of Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan for another year, CalcioMercato reports.

The club has negotiated with Arsenal over the purchase of the transfer right of the 31-year-old Armenian footballer, but the parties have not reached an agreement on the respective price.

Mkhitaryan's contract with Arsenal is expected to run until June 2021.

Transfermarkt.com assesses his transfer value at 20 million euros.
