UEFA asks national leagues to end championships before August 3

UEFA has asked the national leagues to end the championships discontinued as a result of the coronavirus pandemic before August 3, as reported the press service of Holland’s Eriedivizi.

The issue was considered during the video consultation held by the leaders of 55 member associations of UEFA on April 1.

The recommencement of the Champions League and Europa League have also been postponed for an indefinite period.

Last month, UEFA called on ending the national championships on June 30.
