McGregor says coronavirus pandemic will end in 5 weeks: "5 weeks to freedom"
23:46 28 March, 2020Former UFC champion Connor McGregor has predicted that the coronavirus pandemic will end in five weeks. He sent a message to his fans via Facebook.
“Hello everyone, hello Ireland. We have now entered a more substantial lockdown and I am pleased to see it,” he said. “If you do not enter the game, you cannot win it. We have now entered the game and with strict adherence to the methods we will win.
“To the Irish public, we must abide by the legislation put forth tonight by our leaders: no more than two kilometres from home, no unessential travel and full closure of all non-essential business.”
“To the nation, abide by these measures impeccably and prepare for five weeks of it. After that - we are free. Five weeks to freedom. We can do this. The countdown begins now,” he added.
