Athletes qualified for 2020 Tokyo Olympics will keep their places

Athletes who had already qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics will keep their places, AFP reported quoting sources at IOC.

Around 57% of the participants had already qualified for the Olympic Games. The IOC and 32 international sports federations held a teleconference on Thursday where it was decided to respect the qualification process.

The Olympic Games will take place in Tokyo in summer of 2021.
