FIDE to decide on suspension of Chess Olympiad in May

International Chess Federation (FIDE) will decide on whether the 44th Chess Olympiad will be suspended because of coronavirus pandemic in May.

FIDA said they faced a number of problems, and the final decision will be made in May.

The Olympiad had to take place from 5 to 18 August.
