Former Brazilian football star Ronaldinho and his brother may remain in custody for six months after they were arrested for entering Paraguay on fake passports, Global Esporte reported.

Paraguayan authorities fear that Ronaldinho and his brother may escape house arrest, and Brazil will not extradite its citizens to Paraguay.

Ronaldinho will face a fee or a year of imprisonment.
