UEFA president comments on Champions League cancelation rumors
15:19 3 March, 2020UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin commented on the rumors about postponing Juventus-Lyon Champions League match, Football Italia reported.
“We are following the evolution of the epidemic carefully,” he told L’Equipe. “There’s currently no cancellation of any consignment.”
He said they are expecting new data from healthcare ministries of countries hosting Champions League matches. If UEFA is warned about risks, the matches will be canceled.
According to rumors, Juventus vs. Lyon and PSG vs. Barcelona return legs may be canceled because of coronavirus.
