Liverpool offer Werner 5-year-contract

Liverpool are still negotiating over the transfer of forward for Leipzig Timo Werne.

According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool have offered the 23-year-old forward a 5-year contract with an EUR 8,000,000 annual salary.

This season, Werner played 33 matches with RB Leipzig, scoring 37 goals and making 11 passes for goals.

Earlier, the member of the German football team had stated that he wouldn’t mind continuing his career in Liverpool, taking into consideration his wish to work with Jurgen Klopp.
